Popular Coffee Chain Opens New Shop, Celebrates With Deals: MA Cheap Eats

MASSACHUSETTS — A popular coffee chain is opening its newest location in Massachusetts and is celebrating with deals throughout the month.

Aroma Joe's is opening its 14th location at 65 Haverhill St. in Methuen. The 800-square-foot drive-thru location is operated by franchisee Chandrasekhara Raju Muppala.

The new store will celebrate its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Mar. 18 at 1 p.m.

This will be the business's second location in Methuen, with another at 70 East St., according to its website.

Aroma Joe's is best known for its coffee and espresso, energy drinks and infused beverages. The business also serves breakfast sandwiches, soft pretzels, cinnamon rolls and donuts.

The eatery is headquartered in Scarborough, Maine, and has expanded with 134 locations across the Northeast.

Celebratory promotions

During the first few weeks in business, the location said it will offer celebratory promotions.

From Mar. 9 through Mar. 13: every 15th customer gets a free order.

From Mar. 16 through Mar. 20: a different 24 oz. flavor available for free each day in honor of "AJ's Rush® energy drink week."

Those flavors are Black Jack on Monday, Green Alien on Tuesday, Rock-It-Pop on Wednesday, Pink Star on Thursday and Blue Hawaiian on Friday.

From Mar. 23 through Mar. 27: Aroma Joes in Methuen is celebrating free coffee week, with a different flavor available in any size each day.

Those flavors are Nutty Bar – Hazelnut & Caramel on Monday, Coconut Joy – Coconut & Chocolate Milano on Tuesday, Black Raspberry – Red Raspberry, Chocolate Milano & White Chocolate on Wednesday, Mint Pattie – Crème De Menth & Chocolate Milano on Thursday and S’Mores Fantasy – Toasted Marshmallow, Chocolate Milano & Shortbread on Friday.
