Joe & The Juice Expanding To Boston

It will join the brand's hundreds of other locations, including in cities like New York and Miami.

BOSTON, MA — A popular juice and sandwich spot is making its way to Boston.

Joe & the Juice, the Denmark-based brand known for its juices, coffee, and sandwiches, is opening a location at 125 Newbury St. in Boston, according to signage outside the storefront.

The company put up signs at the former home of Jonquil's Cafe and Bakery. The business shuttered last year, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

The new location will be across from popular stores like New Balance and Glossier on the Back Bay shopping street.

It's not entirely clear when the business will open, but it will join the brand's hundreds of other locations, including in cities like New York and Miami.

Joe & the Juice confirmed the store's opening with Patch, but said the location does not have an opening date yet.

This is just the latest in a series of businesses coming and going in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood.

The upscale eatery known for its large fish display and fresh seafood, Avra Estiatorio, is set to open at 400 Newbury St. in mid-April. The restaurant will be Avra’s eighth location and its first in Massachusetts.

Plus, two businesses atop the Prudential Tower are set to close this Spring.

The Beacon Bistro on the 50th floor and Stratus, a rooftop bar on the 51st floor of the Prudential Tower in Back Bay, are set to close on Apr. 21, according to Legends Global, the venue management and services company that operates "View Boston."
