Ditch the Foam Finger: Worcester Among 'Worst Cities to be a Football Fan'
According to a recent survey, Worcester is apparently one of the worst places to be if you're a fan of football.

WORCESTER, MA -- Sorry Holy Cross. Sorry Worcester County Wildcats. But apparently, if you’re a big football fan, Worcester’s one of the worst places you can be in the country to join in the cheering.
With Super Bowl 50 this weekend, the personal finance resource WalletHub released its report on 2016’s Best & Worst Cities for Football Fans.
Worcester was eighth from the bottom among the 245 cities ranked, with Kingston, RI, topping that “worst” list. Green Bay, WI, ranked the best place in the country to be a fan.
How did WalletHub come to this conclusion? It analyzed the cities with at least one college or professional football team based on 18 key metrics, ranging from the number of NFL and college football teams to average ticket prices.
