Tire Retailer Looking To Open Location In Worcester

The business sells tires and wheels and offers appointments for tire rotations, changeovers, alignments, and repairs.

WORCESTER, MA — A New England-based tire dealer is looking to open a store on a busy roadway in Worcester.

Town Fair Tire filed paperwork with the city's Zoning Board of Appeals to open at 540 West Boylston St. The site includes a former Dollar Tree location, which is now permanently closed.

Representatives for the business, which began in Connecticut, will go before the board on Feb. 2.

Right now, there is an approximately 20,000-square-foot vacant commercial building on site, along with a parking lot. The business plans to renovate part of the existing structure to support a six-bay tire installation center, according to the upcoming meeting agenda.

Town Fair Tire operates 124 stores in the Northeast, with several locations in Central Massachusetts, including Shrewsbury, Auburn, Marlborough, and Milford. The business sells tires and wheels and offers appointments for tire rotations, changeovers, alignments, and repairs.
