WATCH: Worcester Officer Runs Boston Marathon for Kids With Cancer
'It's is hard but these kids are going through so much more.'

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester officer Justin Bennes is among the 30,000 runners in the Boston Marathon this year, and among a team of officers across that state who are participating to benefit Cops for Kids With Cancer.
"The money goes directly to the families that are impacted," said Bennes in a video (below) talking about the cause, and marathon, "whether it be the kids themselves for medical bills, clothes, gas to the hospital, places to stay - all the stuff that directly impacts them so this ride through cancer is a little easier for them."
"Cancer affects every one at every age," said Bennes. "It affected a lot of people i know. Being a father, and watching friends who have kids with cancer, it has affected me. [Training] is hard but these kids are going through so much more."
