Who's In Charge In Worcester? New Council, School Committees Set

WORCESTER, MA — Following Worcester's 2022 inauguration ceremony on Monday, the city's newly elected City Council and School Committee members have been assigned seats on committees governing everything from diversity to the environment.

The committees, which are subgroups under the main City Council and School Committee, get to dive into issues before important votes. For example, the City Council's Public Safety Committee might get into a deeper discussion about police body cameras before the issue goes before the City Council.
