Worcester Animal Rescue League to Host 'Wagtime' Fundraiser
Worcester Animal Rescue League invites all pet lovers to celebrate its 105th anniversary at the 5th Annual Wagtime fundraiser on March 11.

From the Worcester Animal Rescue League: Worcester Animal Rescue League (WARL) invites all pet lovers to celebrate its 105th anniversary at the 5th Annual Wagtime fundraiser on Saturday, March 11, 2017 hosted at The Manor on 42 West Boylston Street in West Boylston.
This eventful night is filled with adorable animals, a vegetarian buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, and entertainment performed by Niki Luparelli and the Gold Diggers.
The Wagtime fundraiser, sponsored in part by VCA Animal Hospitals and Fletcher Tilton, is an annual event that helps fund the WARL’s mission to provide compassion for every pet and pet owner that needs their help. All proceeds from this event will go to directly support programs, like the medical needs of individual animals and their low-cost spay/neuter clinics.

WARL currently supports 2,500 animals by offering pet adoptions, dog boarding services, spay/neuter and vaccine clinics, and educational programs for the public.
The Wagtime Committee has been “working like dogs” to create a special Wagtime celebration in honor of the 105 years since WARL first opened their doors to contribute to the welfare of animals. Their goal is to raise $50,000 in honor of both events. At each past Wagtime event, they exceeded their expectations and believe this year’s Wagtime will be their most successful yet.
This year’s auction items will be the best line-up yet. Items to be auctioned include: a New England Patriots Package featuring a football autographed by Super Bowl LI Champion Tom Brady, His-and-Hers Patriots apparel, game tickets, and more Patriot prizes; a 4 day/3-night stay at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas; New England Getaways; Disney passes; electronics; gift certificates; and much more.
“This fundraiser supports many animals in need of care and loving homes. What makes me so excited is to see how the community comes together and wants to help contribute to such an amazing cause,” says Allie Tellier, Executive Director of WARL.
