Worcester Dunkin' Closes After Worker Positive For Coronavirus
A Dunkin' spokesperson said that the Kelley Square restaurant closed this week for a cleaning.

WORCESTER, MA — A Dunkin' coffee shop located at a gas station in Kelley Square closed this week after an employee tested positive for coronavirus, the company has confirmed.
The store, located at 185 Madison St., closed for a cleaning on May 4, and should open by Wednesday. No other employees at the location have exhibited symptoms of the virus, a spokesperson said.
"The franchisee who owns and operates this restaurant has informed us that the employee is currently in self-quarantine and no other restaurant employees have exhibited any symptoms of the illness," the company said in a statement. "The franchisee confirmed that all recommendations from local health officials are being followed and the restaurant is in full compliance with all CDC, local and state public health guidelines."

Employees at Dunkin' stores in Haverhill and Hyannis have tested positive for coronavirus recently, according to reports. But Worcester is still reeling after a major outbreak was discovered at the Tobias Boland Way Walmart. Eighty-one of 400 Walmart employees tested positive for the virus, although the store was allowed to reopen on Tuesday after a cleaning.
As of Tuesday, 2,504 Worcester residents had tested positive, and at least 137 people had died at the city's main hospitals, according to officials.

All Dunkin' locations in Massachusetts are closed to dine-in service. Employees are supposed to wear gloves and face coverings while at work, according to the company.
The Madison Street Dunkin' is a franchise location and is not owned by the Dunkin' Brands corporation.
