The Worcester Film Wars: You've Got Three Days to Make a Short Film for Some Awesome Prizes
Creative types, pros or not, are urged to shoot a short film for the Worcester Film Wars.

WORCESTER, MA—You don't have to be a pro, but organizers want to see what creative folks can pull off with their DSLR, iPhone, GoPro .... whatever.
A small team of dedicated people are giving you The Worcester Film Wars, in which everyone gets three days to shoot a 3-7 min film that will be screened on Oct. 2.
"This is the first event like this in Worcester but other cities have been doing them for a while and have been very successful," wrote promoter Barry Dennis.

The Worcester Film Wars is the brainchild of Molly McGrath, Anthony Bridgford and Marcus Ohanesian from Grime, the vintage clothing store on Shrewsbury St. Bridgford also hosts a movie night at Ralph's.
"With my job at Hunt's [a sponsor] I deal with filmmakers, production companies and film festivals all the time so it seemed like a good fit," Dennis told Patch.
