Worcester Man Accused Of Driving Drunk With 2 Children In The Car
Police learned that he had an outstanding warrant from Polk County, Florida.
WORCESTER, MA — A man is facing charges after police said he was driving drunk with two children and an adult woman in the car.
Honorio Lisboa Jr. was arrested in Southborough on Saturday evening after police stopped his vehicle with a defective headlight at the intersection of Marlboro and Sears roads. There was a woman in the passenger seat and two small children in rear-facing car seats in the back seat. Police did not say whether the two kids in the car were his children.
Southborough officers detected a strong smell of alcohol from Lisboa Jr., along with glassy eyes and slurred speech, police said.

Lisboa Jr. did not have a valid driver's license and gave police the name and Social Security number of a different person, police said. After eventually providing his real name, police learned that he had an outstanding warrant from Polk County, Florida.
Following the arrest, detectives searched the vehicle and discovered multiple opened and empty nip bottles of liquor. Lisboa Jr. was taken to Worcester House of Correction on Sunday and was expected to be arraigned on Tuesday in Westborough District Court.

The 42-year-old was charged with Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, Child Endangerment while OUI, Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a License Suspended (subsequent offense), Motor Vehicle Operator Refusing to Identify Self, Possesion of an Open Container o Alcohol, Tresspass with Motor Vehicle, Motor Vehicle Lights Violation, License Not in Posession, Failure to Notify RMV of Name/Address Change.
