Worcester Police Find Gun In Roadway After Double-Shooting

The shooting broke out Wednesday afternoon along Henchman Street, according to police.

WORCESTER, MA — Two 21-year-old men were shot Wednesday afternoon in a neighborhood near downtown Worcester, according to police.

The shooting happened at around 1:30 p.m. along Henchman Street off of Lincoln Street. By the time police arrived, the two victims had already been taken to a local hospital.

One officer on his way to the scene of the shooting came across a gun that had been left along the roadway, police said.
