Worcester Tech Boys' Basketball Wins MIAA Quarter-final
The team defeated Main South on Friday night to go on to play Maynard in the semi-finals.
WORCESTER, MA - It was another win for Worcester Technical High School School's boys' basketball team, knocking Main South out Friday night in the MIAA Central Division 4 tournament quarter-finals.
Worcester Tech, which is seeded fifth in the tournament, beat fourth seed Main South 43-42.
Worcester Tech takes on top seeded Maynard High School on Monday, March 7, at Worcester Polytechnic Institute at 7:30 p.m.
Worcester Tech's record is 15-5.
