Wrentham Boy Says Men Asked Him To Get In Car: Police

A suspicious incident was reported this week after a boy told police two men allegedly took their request for directions too far.

WRENTHAM, MA – A Wrentham boy reported a suspicious incident to police this week. According to the Wrentham Police Department, the 13-year-old told police he was walking his dog around 7:45 p.m. Monday night in the Ingrid Drive area when he was approached by two men.

The men were in a white Honda SUV and stopped to ask the boy for directions. The boy told police the men then asked him to get in the car and show them how to get to their destination, police said. He became nervous and fled to a neighbor's house.

The car then drove away, turning right on Chestnut Street toward Birch Street in Franklin.

One of the men was described as white, 40-50 years old and wearing a Patriots shirt. The other was described as dark-skinned, 40-50 years old and wearing glasses and a black and green beanie.
