Three Michigan beaches were ranked among the "best hidden beaches" in the country, according to a new study.
MICHIGAN — Three Michigan beaches were ranked among the "best hidden beaches" in the country, according to a new study.
Family Destinations Guide surveyed 3,000 families nationwide to learn about their favorite secret beaches ahead of the summer season. Florida clinched the top spot with nine overall, including four in the top 10. Hawaii came in third with five beaches on the list and three in the top 10.

No. 84 Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leelanau and Benzie counties
The top five secret beaches in the country were: Awahua Beach in Hawaii, Shell Key Preserve in Florida, Lanikai Beach in Hawaii, Kauapea Beach in Hawaii and Sedge Island in New Jersey.
