These were Michigan's biggest lottery winners in 2023.

MICHIGAN — For the third consecutive year, lottery players in Michigan collected more than $3 billion in prizes.

Of the Michigan Lottery sales, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced more than $1.3 billion to the School Aid Fund in 2023, marking the fifth consecutive year the agency’s contribution has topped $1 billion.

Since the Lottery began in 1972, players have collected more than $50 billion in prizes.

MI Woman Wins $6M Jackpot On Scratch-Off Ticket: Lottery

A Genesse County woman hit the top prize worth $6 million on a scratch-off ticket. The lucky 69-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the winning $300,000,000 Diamond Riches ticket at the Pure Market located at 8475 Main Street in Whitmore Lake, officials said.

'I Was Speechless:' MI Man Wins $2M On Scratch-Off Ticket

A man said it's a miracle his $2 million winning lottery ticket didn't end up in the trash. He plans to invest his winnings, lottery officials said.

"I don’t plan on making any big purchases with the money, but rather use it as a nice financial cushion for our family," the player said.

Detroit Woman Wins $2M On Scratch-Off Ticket: MI Lottery

A 29-year-old Detroit woman won $2 million on a scratch-off ticket.

"I scratched the ticket when I got home and was in shock when I saw I won $2 million! I didn’t believe what I was seeing, so I had to have my grandpa double check the ticket. It was such an unreal feeling, and it still hasn’t fully sunk in," the player said.

A Macomb County woman won a $2 million prize from a scratch-off ticket.

"I just stared at the ticket in disbelief waiting for it to sink in, but it still doesn’t feel real," the player said.

$1.5M Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Oakland County

Someone bought a winning Michigan Lottery ticket from an Oakland County store and won $1.5 million in a July draw. The winning ticket, purchased at the Carnival Market, located at 1101 East Walton Boulevard in Pontiac, matched the winning Lotto 47 Double Play numbers on Wednesday (20-25-26-27-36-44).

An Interlochen man is looking forward to a nice financial cushion after winning a $1 million Mega Millions prize from the Michigan Lottery.

"I was having a hard time believing it myself, but I couldn’t verify the prize until Monday morning when the Lottery office opened. I still can’t believe it’s real even though I am here claiming the prize," the player said.

Dearborn Man Wins $1M On Powerball Ticket

A Dearborn man won a $1 million Powerball prize from the Michigan Lottery in September. He bought his winning ticket at the 7-Eleven, located at 34951 Garfield Road in Fraser, according to officials.

$1M Winning MI Lotto Ticket Purchased In Metro Detroit

Someone won $1 million after buying a Lotto 47 ticket Saturday from a metro Detroit market. The winning ticket was purchased at the Baas Mini Mart, located at 31301 Five Mile Road in Livonia, according to Michigan Lottery officials.

Metro Detroit Man Wins $1M Lottery Prize Day After Getting Married

A Livingston County man won a $1 million prize from a scratch-off ticket a day after his wedding.

"I bought the ticket the day after my wedding and gave it to my wife to scratch," the man said. "When she revealed the ‘$1 MIL’ prize amount, we were in disbelief. We kept reading the instructions over and over again to make sure we really won. It was an exciting couple of days for us," the player said.
