'Project X' is a new musical centering around 4 teenagers entering Middle School. Realizing that Middle School isn't just about what it appears to be, they scramble to fit in and lose track of what's really important. This show tackles difficult subjects such as popularity, peer pressure, betrayal and staying true to yourself. Now, they must make a choice between the Friends they always wanted-or the Friends they've always had.BEFORE THE SHOWWHAT SETS 'PROJECT X-THE MUSICAL' APART FROM OTHER SHOWS?The show has been developed, produced and performed by teenagers. Their unique take on putting on a musical works well with the hummable music and hilarious script.WHY SHOULD I GO SEE IT?

WHAT'S THE MESSAGE BEHIND IT?The show teaches the value of friendship, staying true to yourself, embracing yourself and just holding on. Max refuses to speak to Brenton because he is not 'cool enough'. In Brenton's song 'WHEN YOU'RE THE NERD', he sings that yes, he is a nerd. However, he has stayed true to himself and he is embracing himself for who he is. When Beth calls Trish a dumb blonde, not only is it a sterotype - it's mean.At the end of the show, the two characters (Max and Brenton) re-unite.
