career as an attorney in 2001 after he attended a local boogie-woogie festival,
to become a blues and boogie-woogie man.
Now, after a decade in the field he has distinguished himself as ‘one of
the best’ practitioners of the genre in the field today. Described as ‘a nationally emerging
boogie-woogie master,’ Matthew is helping to define a new generation's
