Authorities ID Unconscious Mystery Woman Found in Oakland Co. (Updated)
Stephanie Lynn Yeider, 38, of Waterford Township, was found late last week along a road in Independence Township.

Authorities have identified the unconscious woman found on an Oakland County road last week, according to a Royal Oak Daily Tribune report.

Stephanie Lynn Yeider, 38, of Waterford Township, had been missing since Friday, the report stated. Yeiderβs friend contacted the Oakland County Sheriffβs Office after seeing a Facebook post about an unidentified mystery woman found at 6 p.m. July 7, near the intersection of Andersonville Road and Curtis Lane in Independence Township, the report added.
Sheriffβs detectives went to Yeiderβs home and spoke with her boyfriend, who IDβed her, the report stated. The boyfriend told investigators that he didnβt report Yeider missing because she had a history of leaving home without telling anyone where she was going, the report added.

Yeider is still unconscious and in intensive care at McClaren Hospital-Oakland, and doctors are unsure what is wrong with her, the report stated.

Oakland County authorities havenβt been able to identify a woman found unconscious on a county road last week and are seeking the publicβs help, according to a Detroit Free Press report.
The woman was found around 6 p.m. July 7, near the intersection of Andersonville Road and Curtis Lane in Independence Township, the report stated. She didnβt have an ID on her, and her fingerprints werenβt in the national fingerprint system, the report added.
The woman, who is unconscious at McLaren Hopsital-Oakland, is described as follows:
- about 40 years old
- white with shoulder-length, dark-brown hair
- about 5β4β and 220 pounds
She was found wearing glasses and has no marks, scars or tattoos, the report added.
