• Berrien County Drain Commissioner to hold meeting on Grand Mere Drain this month (wsjm.com) — If you own property near the Grand Mere Drain, you can meet one-on-one with the Berrien County Drain Commissioner and engineers on May 27 at the county administration building to review your proposed assessment and flooding fixes. The open-house style Day of Review runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and focuses on a long-delayed project to improve drainage from North Lake to Lake Michigan.
