Commit to Kindness this Month with Hudsonville Ice Cream

Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day, and as an extension of its Random Acts of Ice Cream campaign, Hudsonville Ice Cream is calling on Michiganders to commit to spreading kindness in their communities with a Pledge of Kindness. The pledge encourages individuals to do something nice for others, spreading genuine goodness where they live.

This digital Pledge of Kindness can be signed at the Hudsonville Ice Cream Facebook page, www.facebook.com/hudsonvilleicecream. Michiganders can sign the pledge now through Feb. 26, sharing how they will do nice things for others in the coming weeks. By signing the pledge, fans will be entered to win a shipment of Hudsonville Ice Cream to their doorstep.

“Random Acts of Kindness Day taps into a spirit of genuine goodness that we feel is an essential part of who Hudsonville Ice Cream is as a company, but more importantly, we recognize that a random act of kindness is something we could use more of and that could have a big impact on those around us. We wanted to remind people to share kindness with their friends, family and neighbors in unexpected ways,” said Rachel Hamden, marketing manager for Hudsonville Ice Cream. “We heard so many inspiring and encouraging stories through our Random Acts of Ice Cream nomination process over the summer, and we wanted to bring that back for this fun February holiday. We are looking forward to learning more about how people plan to positively impact their communities through this pledge.”

These nominees don’t do it for the recognition, they simply do it out of the goodness of their hearts.
