SHE Presents Smythe and Detroit Caliber Collection Trunk Show

Exclusive Shopping Event to Benefit JARC

SHE is hosting a shopping event to support JARC an organization serving people with disabilities, on Thursday, October 22, 2015, and Friday, October 23, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the boutique’s Bloomfield Hill’s location at 4076 West Maple Road.

The special days of shopping will feature a Spring 2016 trunk show with sought after designer Smythe. Fall and holiday collections are currently in store and will also be on display. A favorite of celebrities, Smythe has created essential wardrobe pieces that are both modern and emotional. The contemporary, flawlessly-tailored jackets and coats feature nostalgic colors, textures and prints that are distinct in their traditional menswear tailoring details. This artful tailoring and sartorial fit made Smythe an instant success when the label launched in 2004. Smythe’s made-in-Canada jackets and coats are iconic silhouettes that are novel yet versatile.

The Caliber Collection is a new kind of jewelry on the market that takes a stand against gun control in the Motor City and beyond. Created by designer, Jessica Mindich, her innovative Caliber Collection is composed of jewelry made from serial numbers for illegal guns and metal from bullet casings taken off the streets. There are specific Jewelry collections made from guns confiscated by police in Detroit, Hartford, Conn., Newark, N.J. and San Francisco. Mindich will be making a personal appearance with her collection during the shopping event. Her one-of-a-kind pieces focus on a Detroit theme and start at $150.
