TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants To Offer Free Meals To Veterans
Applebee's, Olga's Kitchen, MOD Pizza, and Del Taco locations will offer a free meal to active or retired military personnel on Veterans Day
TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Michigan-based, family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual dining, quick-service and family dining restaurants throughout the state of Michigan, announced today that its Applebee’s, Olga’s Kitchen, MOD Pizza and Del Taco restaurants will offer free meals to veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day to honor our troops. TSFR Director of Marketing Barb Pasciak made the announcement.
On Saturday, November 11, all 64 TSFR Michigan Applebee’s, 27 Olga’s Kitchen, eight MOD Pizza and five Del Taco restaurants will celebrate Veterans Day by providing a free meal to those who have courageously served or are currently enlisted in military services. Applebee’s will feature a special Veterans Day menu as well as provide a $5 bounce back coupon to each veteran to use on their next visit, Olga’s Kitchen will offer The Original Olga® sandwich, Del Taco will offer its 1-10 combo meals and MOD Pizza will offer any MOD size pizza for free.
“We are fortunate to have troops that bravely dedicate their lives each and every day to ensure we are able to enjoy the luxuries of freedom. And, it is important to us at TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants to take the opportunity to recognize that,” said Pasciak. “We are proud to offer year-round support to the men and women that selflessly fight for our country and are honored to open our doors once again for Veterans Day to offer them a free meal. We look forward to welcoming them into our restaurants and thanking them in person for their brave efforts.”

Those eligible to receive a free meal need to show proof of service, such as a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, DDT214 Citation or Commendation, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, a Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a Veterans Organization Card, a photograph of he/she in military uniform or by wearing their military uniform in-restaurant.
