Royal Oak Police Chief Corrican O'Donohue told Royal Oak Patch that a team of officers from Berkley, Madison Heights, Ferndale and Royal Oak are covering all four corners of a home on Sprague Avenue where they believe a homicide suspect is hiding out inside.

With guns drawn, the SWAT team is down on one knee with eyes focused on the house. A negotiator is audible from a block away.

Bloomfield Township Police Capt. Scott McCanham confirmed officers assisted the investigation by following up on a lead about a possible person of interest in the township, but that the lead did not pan out.
