Bentivolio Hosts Grand Opening at Only District Office

U.S. Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-Milford) invites constituents to attend the grand opening of his district office in Commerce Township from 11-3 p.m. this Saturday, officials said. The event will be an opportunity for constituents to learn more about the services offered by the office, which include help with veteran’s issues and Social Security/Medicare, and assistance with the Internal Revenue Service.

Food and beverages will be provided.

Bentivolio, a first-time candidate, won the reapportioned 11th District in November and now represents the city of Bloomfield Hills. Bentivolio spokesman Matt Chisholm said the office opened without a ceremony or much fanfare last month. It will be the only 'fixed' office Bentivolio will maintain in the expansive district, which stretches from Wayne County.

Chisholm said there are plans for a mobile office that will be fully functional in mid-to-late spring.
