Bloomfield Township Library Announces Field of Board Candidates, Interview Schedule
Interviews with the eight candidates are scheduled between on July 21 and July 22 at the library, and all meetings are open to the public.
The Bloomfield Township Public Library announced the candidates and interview dates for prospective board members this afternoon. Those that expressed interest in the trustee position vacated by Lyle Dahlberg, who resigned in May, are:
- Hassan Amirikia
- Hugh Dean
- Joseph Falik
- Gail Kowitz
- Ann Manning
- Thomas McNab
- Gerald Meyers
- Patricia Wagner
Interviews are in the process of being scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22 in the Library Board Room. Each is expected to take about a half hour. The interviews are open to the public.
"It should be fun. I always enjoy meeting new residents who are anxious to serve," said Library Director Karen Kotulis-Carter.
