"Her experience has prepared her for this role, and she has worked with and has the respect of all the department heads, and the residents as well," Roncelli said.

In her new role, Mondock will have more duties in elections and in the processing of all the paperwork and official records the office is charged with. She recently completed the Municipal Clerk's Certification program, a three-year process, officials said.

Mondock said she learned a great deal from Barton, who was with the township for 16 years, and that she was grateful for the mentoring and opportunities Roncelli and the township administration continue to provide.

"They've been great mentors and it's going to be a great opportunity," she said before more than two dozen township employees, elected officials and family members. "Tina did an awesome job, and I hope to do as good a job as she did."

Mondock will continue her current administrative duties until the administrative assistant position is filled. If interested, see the job posting for more information.
