Victim in Fatal Crash in Bloomfield Identified
Traverse City resident Theresa Dora Leone, 72, died at a local hospital Sunday afternoon. Bloomfield Township police said. The accident remains under investigation.

The today released the name of the Traverse City woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Telegraph Road on Sunday.
Theresa Dora Leone, 72, died from her injuries sustained in the afternoon wreck that appears to have been caused by another driver who missed a red light, Sgt. Craig Shackleford said. Officers responded to reports of the crash just north of Square Lake Road at about 1:10 p.m. and found Leone and another passenger injured a 2009 Saturn. Both were transported to an area hospital where Leone died and the other victim was admitted with serious injuries. An update on their conditions was not immediately available.
The initial investigation showed a 1995 Chevrolet pickup failed to stop for a red light on northbound Telegraph and struck the four-door Saturn, which was crossing over from the median, the release stated. No other injuries were reported.

Shackleford said the crash remains under investigation by Bloomfield Township Traffic Unit, but that neither alcohol nor speeding appeared to be factors.
Members of the Southeast Oakland County Crash Investigation Team (SOCCIT) and the Bloomfield Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
