Pantyhose Flasher May Drive a Silver Jeep, Police Say

Authorities warn that the man frequents businesses involving women and children throughout Metro Detroit.

Deputies from the say the man who is wanted for at least 17 instances of indecent exposure in businesses involving women or children may drive a silver Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee.

Deputies reviewed video from the man's visit to in Rochester Hills last week and saw a 2005-09 Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee drive past the front of the salon minutes before the man entered.

The incident happened near closing time at the salon; a man wearing an inside-out and backward T-shirt, button down shirt, hat, slippers and only sheer blue nylons walked into the salon and asked about a Brazilian wax, exposing himself to employees there, police say.

Witnesses to similar incidents at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township and at businesses in Chesterfield Township and Canton Township also told police they saw a Jeep Grand Cherokee close to the time the man had been to shops there; they described the Jeep as white or champagne-colored, according to deputies.

Police from several agencies in Oakland, Wayne and Macomb Counties have been working together to identify the man who has been entering businesses wearing only pantyhose and footwear below the waist.

He has been spotted at:

  • in Clinton Township on Monday;
  • A Justice girl's clothing store and another clothing shop in on Monday;
  • Two locations in , once in December and again March 7; 
  • Salon Bliss in on March 13;
  • in February and November;
  • in  on Feb. 16;
  • A boutique in  in February;
  • And other locations in Auburn Hills and Canton.

Police are asking that people look out for this man and the Jeep.  Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-SPEAKUP.
