• Woman serving 70 years for killing bicyclists could be resentenced (thetimesherald.com) — Bloomfield Hills readers should know that appellate judges have ordered further sentencing proceedings for the driver convicted in a 2022 crash that killed cyclist Michael Salhaney of Bloomfield Hills and another rider during a Make-A-Wish charity event. While her murder convictions stand, the court says the trial judge must better justify consecutive sentences or potentially resentence her, leaving the final prison term unresolved.
