Presidential Debates 2012: What Time is the Final Presidential Debate?

It all comes down to this. The final face-to-face showdown between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney as both men, and the country, get ready for the stretch drive of this long presidential campaign.

The last of three presidential debates takes place tonight at 9 p.m. in Florida, a key battleground state, but the candidates will try to make a last impression to millions of viewers (that aren't tuning in to Monday Night Football).

Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostak said Romney, who grew up in Bloomfield Hills, continues to show the stark differences between his vision for moving the economy forward and improving the country during the debates against the president.

"He understands the issues, and the president has a very difficult record to defend to the entire country," Schostak said in a conference call with reporters last week. "We expect Gov. Romney to do very well."

Schostak also said Romney's performance in the debates invigorated the Republican base in Michigan and has the party faithful fired up for a strong finish.

That's no matter, said Michigan Democratic Chairman Mark Brewer while debating Schostak on WKAR's "Off the Record" show that aired Sunday.
"There are 20 straight polls showing President Obama winning the state. He wins Michigan!"

Note: Due to the San Francisco Giants win last night in Game 6 of the NLCS, Fox (Ch. 2) will not televise the presidential debate in favor of Game 7 tonight.
In addition, WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) will not televise the presidential debate because of the Lions-Bears game.
