Township Board Sets Study Session for Trustee Candidates
Board members will meet next week to discuss field of candidates for vacant trustee spot.

The Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 29 to discuss the applications they receive for the open trustee position. The six current members unanimously approved the special study session Monday night.
The meeting will be in the trustee conference room unless there is a large turnout from the public, Clerk Jan Roncelli said. Supervisor Leo Savoie said residents are welcome and will have an opportunity to address the board at the end of the meeting, but they will not be allowed to speak as board members discuss the candidates.
"Typically, each elected official rated the candidates and we'll go around and talk about each one and see if we can reach a consensus on one, two and three," Supervisor Leo Savoie said when asked how he will conduct the meeting.
