You can browse work from more than 20 local artisans, enjoy a community bake sale that supports student scholarships, and get a head start on holiday shopping, all indoors at 100 Silver Maples Drive.

Plan for 172 homes, 2 medical office buildings under review in Chelsea (mlive.com) — City officials in Chelsea are weighing a 172‑home Wolf Farm development with two medical office buildings on North Freer Road, near Chelsea High School and Pierce Lake Early Childhood Center. Planners postponed a vote while seeking design revisions, as nearby residents raise concerns about traffic, lighting, drainage, and school‑area safety, and officials discuss how new families could influence future school use.
   

5. Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital nurses join growing unionization push (freep.com subscription) — Nurses at Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital have officially unionized with the Michigan Nurses Association, becoming the hospital's first labor union and preparing to negotiate their first contract.
