New cardholders this September can enter a drawing for a Serendipity Books gift card, with services available to residents, workers, and school-of-choice students in the district. 
• Storybook trail work advances in Chelsea (shelbycountyreporter.com) — Work is moving ahead on a new storybook trail in Chelsea, turning an occupational therapist's nature-based therapy idea into a community-backed project supported by local groups and the city. The base trail is finished, and organizers are now coordinating final story and sensory elements, hoping to complete the family-friendly path soon even though no opening date is set yet.
