Members of the AFSCME Local 574 Benevolent Association get ready to deliver all the fixings for Thanksgiving Day meals to families in need, that are living in the communities the union members work. The public works and clerical employees from Troy, Huntington Woods, Clawson, and Rochester prepared 8 holiday baskets for their third annual food drive. The care packages were delivered by, from left, Mike Pihaylic, Dana Mowery, Joe Mowery, Kelly Dell, Mike Purkey, Rena Feld, and Larry Feld. In addition to families, they sent turkeys to a senior center in Rochester. Mike Pihaylic, Dana Mowery, and Joe Mowery visited the 4 families in Troy, Kelly Dell went to 2 families in Clawson, Rena Feld, and Larry Feld delivered the 2 Huntington Woods meals, and Mike Purkey carried 6 turkeys to a senior center in Rochester.
