If you have ever wondered if the spread of standarized testing is needed in our schools, I am one to believe they are not needed. I think our kids and their kids will be faced with issues that need problem solving capabilities. Simply teaching kids to score well on tests does not answer the problems they will be faced with. I think the kids need to learn about math and science facts in such a way that allows them to solve real problems. Here is the article I read. What do you think?
