$25K Reward Offered in Clinton Township Slaying
The reward is offered by family members of the couple, who were beaten to death in their Clinton Township home on Jan. 15.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI β A $25,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who brutally murdered a Clinton Township couple in their home on Friday, Jan. 15, police said.
A relative discovered the bodies of James and Christy McKoegh, a married couple in their 50s, after being unable to reach them, police previously said.

Clinton Township Police Capt. Richard Maierle told The Macomb Daily that an autopsy determined the couple had been beaten to death.
βWe are still tracking down some information, talking to people and waiting for the results of DNA testing from the crime lab,β Maierle said.

The couple lived on Uthers Street in the area of 18 Mile and Hayes roads.

A combined funeral service for the couple will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, in Clinton Township. Visitation will be held from 1-9 p.m. Friday.
