What country did Ray Bradbury describe as smelling like "a really old book"?
Come to the AAUW Used Book Sale and find out. Or, perhaps, you'll discover your own answer to that question. Either way you're bound (yes, pun intended) to find something of interest among the thousands of books offered at the sale.
AAUW gathers and sorts donated books all year long. With 800 boxes of books sorted so far into categories such as Michigan/Dearborn, Geography/Travel, Autobiographies, Gardens, Music, Fantasy, Women, Literature, Paperbacks, etc. it is estimated there are 25,000 books to choose from. The sale runs from September 19th-21st at DISC.
Still wondering what country a really old book smells like? Do you think you know? Feel free to post your ideas in the comments section. And next Monday I'll post Bradbury's answer to that question and pose another one.
