Fred Hoffman is an Obama delegate to the Democratic National Convention in September. A former Dearborn newspaper editor & city official, he has long been a party advocate.
I was honored to have been elected as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte NC in September. Having spent a career in and around the auto industry, I am particularly supportive of President Obama because of his courageous leadership in saving the domestic autos - and the millions of jobs that are tied to it. I have been encouraged to share my thoughts about the convention experience, and if I get good feedback here, I 'll do so.
