Got some work done in the garden today. Built a small bed for cucumbers to grow from and added pumpkins to the line of corn growing in another bed. The tulips are almost all bloomed and they look great! I took a photo of one of them that had gotten a little wind-blown; looks nice.
It's still April and I've already eaten two full 'urban salads' from the garden. Today I also planted one watermelon, six broccoli, eight tomato, two bell pepper, four green bean, and some sunflower seedlings.
Also got some marigold and zinnia flowering plants in the raised bed that has the broccoli; supposed to keep aphids away by attracting lady bugs (which eat them).
