I had a hard day at work yesterday. It was one of those days when people just didn't want to be reasonable. I felt kind of stressed out. On my way home though, I decided to stop by the garden and check it out for a bit. While I was there, I thought about how if I weren't doing this, this lot would just be vacant with no one taking care of it - before the garden, people used to drive and park their cars on it, ruining the lawn. Now, there are a ton of plants. I remembered a moment in the Spring, on Memorial Day, when I can to visit the garden. There were many people outside walking to the parade. I was still by my car when I noticed walkers looking at the garden. I heard them talking about how neat and interesting it was. I didn't feel a need to try to tell them about it, it just felt good to see their natural reaction. This garden is pretty cool! Besides, look at all of those tomatoes and flowers!
