Federal Law Enforcemen Exploring Program to Host Open House
Law Enforcement career exploration program open to metro area high school and college students.

Detroit, MI; On Tuesday, September 30, 2014, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will host an Open House at the Boy Scouts of America located at 1776 W. Warren Ave. in Detroit, to talk about their Law Enforcement Exploring Program and sign up new recruits to this career exploration program.
Law Enforcement Exploring is open to young men and women ages 14 (and completed the 8th grade) and not yet 21 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Law Enforcement. With so many unique careers under one agency, explorers will have the chance to experience a wide range of law enforcement activities and choose the one that’s right for them.
The Open House begins at 5:00 PM and is expected to run for about two hours. Advisors and current Explorer program cadets will be on hand to inform students, and their parents about the program including application information and fees.

The Explorer program offers opportunities in character building, good citizenship, and fitness for young men and women. When accepted into the program, and Explorer will receive extensive training and on the job experience to help prepare them for a career in law enforcement.
