The Friends For the Dearborn Animal Shelter’s Black Tie & Tails charity fundraiser was held on Oct. 25 at the Dearborn Inn.
This year’s gala featured a "Roaring 1920s" theme to commemorate the Friends’ 20 years of service to the city of Dearborn and the community.
More than $1 million in pledges and donations was raised at the event on Friday.
