• Former Oak Park clerk sues city, alleging religious discrimination and privacy breach (mlive.com) — A Dearborn resident is suing the City of Oak Park, alleging religious discrimination, harassment, and a serious privacy breach tied to her past sexual assault records. The former clerk says supervisors mocked her Muslim faith, improperly accessed a secure police database, and spread degrading rumors, leading to PTSD-related leave and eventual job loss. She's seeking damages for lost wages, medical costs, and emotional distress.
