Person Wanted For Connection To Fatal Hit-And-Run Of 6-Year-Old
The young girl was struck struck by a silver or white Chevrolet Equinox in Dearborn on Sunday, in which the driver never stopped.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn Police have identified a person wanted in a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a 6-year-old girl Sunday in Dearborn.
Police named Jyon Collins, 18, as the person-of-interest. He stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
“This tragedy has impacted our entire community,” Chief Ronald Haddad said. “We will expend every resource until the person responsible is located.”

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $5,000, police said. Anyone with information on Collins' whereabouts should contact police at 313-943-2241 or Crime Stoppers.

A silver or white Chevrolet Equinox hit the girl on the 7600 block of Bingham at 2:50 p.m. Sunday. The driver didn't stop, police said.
The girl was rushed to Children's Hospital with severe injuries and later died, police said.
