2 Charged In Connection To MSP Officer Shooting In Detroit: Police
Two people are facing charges in connection to a shooting that left an undercover state trooper wounded in Detroit, police said.

DETROIT — Two people are facing charges in connection to a shooting that left an undercover Michigan State Police officer wounded in Detroit, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Andrae Scott, Jr., 28, from Detroit, was charged with assault with intent to murder, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, and two counts of felony firearm, officials said. His bond was set at $1 million and returns to court Oct. 11.
Robin K. Hall, 23, from Detroit, was charged with accessory after the fact to a felony and lying to a peace officer (felony), officials said. Her bond was set at $250,000 and is due back in court on Oct. 11.

Police said the undercover state trooper was investigating an apartment complex on the 23630 block of Schoolcraft Road in Detroit on Tuesday morning, when Scott fired multiple shots at the officer, critically injuring him.
The trooper was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition, officials said.

Scott and Hall ran away from the apartment complex after the shooting, but were eventually arrested in Romulus later Tuesday, officials said.
