Bodies Of 2 Detroit Rappers, Friend Found In Abandoned Apartment: Cops

Michigan State Police said they found the three bodies in the basement of an abandoned apartment in Highland Park.

HIGHLAND PARK, MI — Michigan State Police confirmed they found the bodies of two Detroit rappers and a friend Thursday in an abandoned Highland Park apartment.

Armani Kelly, 28, Montoya Givens, 31, and Dante Wicker, 31, were found in the basement of the abandoned apartment at McNichols and Log Cabin roads, Michigan State Police said. The apartment is in poor condition and infested with rats, making for slow progress, police said.

The group all went missing nearly two weeks ago when they were scheduled to perform at the Lounge 31 on 7 Mile Road near Gratiot Avenue on Jan. 21. However, the show was canceled and the men were not heard from since.

Police did not determine the cause of death, as the bodies were too frozen for autopsies. Police did say they believe the three men were killed on the second floor of the apartment and then were dragged to the basement.

A person of interest was being questioned by police, according to Fox 2 Detroit.
