Boy, 17, Found Shot To Death In Detroit Near Grosse Pointe: Reports

DETROIT — A 17-year-old boy was found dead early Friday morning in Detroit near Grosse Pointe Park, according to multiple reports citing police.

Police said officers found the teen shot to death inside a vehicle that was riddled with bullet holes in the area of Mack and Balfour around 1:30 a.m., according to reports.

Mack Avenue was closed Friday morning from Haverhill to Nottingham with Balfour, Berkshire, and Buckingham all closed at Mack Avenue.

No other details were released as police continue investigating the shooting.
