Dittrich Furs is best known for their high-quality fur, shearling and leather.
The Dittrich family opened its first wholesale shop on Witherall near Trapper's Alley in 1893 and is said to be Detroit's oldest privately held business. They've moved around Detroit since then, including locations on Woodward and Grand River, before landing on Third Avenue in 1965, according to its website.
