Detroit Police Seek Assistance in Fatal Hit-And-Run Accident

Police said a 47-year-old man was struck and killed by a SUV while driving a motorcycle on Detroit's eastside.

DETROIT — The Detroit Police Department is looking for help identifying the driver of a SUV involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident.

Police said a 47-year-old man was driving a motorcycle when he was struck and killed by a black 2014 - 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Oct. 19 at 12:11 p.m. in the area of E. State Fair and Rowe streets.

The driver never stopped and fled the scene, police said.
