A federal administrative law judge in Livonia was charged Friday with inappropriately touching a 33-year-old Pontiac woman, an allegation Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said was troubling, given the judge’s position. Perez is currently on leave from his position as an administrative law judge for the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review, Worthy’s office said.

Perez was working at the Social Security Administration office on the 19500 block of Victor Parkway in Livonia around 7 a.m. on Dec. 28, 2016, when he called the complainant into his officer, Worthy said. Once inside, he’s accused of inappropriately touching the woman’s body against her will.
